If you are a veteran who was injured while serving our country, you are entitled to VA benefits. Regardless of the branch of military you served you should be entitled to get benefits for the injuries you sustained while serving this great country. Unfortunately, many veterans do not realize that the illnesses that they are suffering from today can be traced back to military service many years or even decades ago. Conditions such as PTSD or cancer can often be traced back to service in the military. As such, treatment for the veteran should be covered by VA benefits. Conditions such as mesothelioma, lung cancer and Acute Myelogeneous Leukemia (AML) are classic examples of cancers caused by exposure to toxic substances commonly used in the military.
